Tammy Arnold
Tammy Arnold is a highly experienced Allied Healthcare Program Director with over 20 years of teaching experience. Throughout her career, she has worked in various ambulatory care settings, including family practice, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Pediatrics, Dermatology, and cosmetic. However, her true passion lies in educating students and empowering them to transform their lives by developing the skills and determination to succeed. Over the past 17 years, Mrs. Arnold has held leadership positions where she has implemented healthcare programs and fostered the growth of those around her, with a strong emphasis on community-focused volunteers. Her dedication and efforts have resulted in the donation of over $50,000 worth of goods or services and more than 1000 volunteered hours. Recognizing the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare, Mrs. Arnold firmly believes in the expansion of the allied health curriculum. She understands that healthcare leaders must possess empathy, understanding, and emotional intelligence to provide thoughtful and inclusive care to all individuals. As she nears the completion of her doctoral program, where she is focusing on health care inequalities and the social determinants of health, Mrs. Arnold is committed to addressing these issues and driving positive change in the field. Mrs. Arnold holds a Master of Health Services Administration from Regis University in Boulder, CO. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Devry University in Oakland, CA, an Associate of Art Degree in Liberal Studies from Chabot College in Hayward, CA, and an Associate of Science Degree in Medical Assisting from Carrington College in San Leandro, CA. Additionally, she is a certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA).
Doris Bumpus
With over 26 years of service with one of the largest Health Providers for Healthcare, Doris Bumpus leadership responsibilities includes being an active participant in her organizations’ labor management partnership operations, budget forecasting, workforce planning, and being a change agent to name a few. Doris work includes improvement in customer service satisfaction scores for Northern California. As a change agent, Doris streamlined her department’s internal scheduling system through implementation of a regionwide web-based scheduling program. Doris enjoys the Arts which for her includes acting and singing. She participated in a few of her high school productions and was a part of her high schools’ competition concert choir, but it wasn’t until 22 years later where she found her passion, purpose and what excites her in a little town called Fairfield where she was casted as Dorothy Gale in her favorite childhood musical, The Wiz! It was there when were she fell in love with all thing’s theatre. Doris has participated in several Bay Area productions, The Wiz, Dreamgirls, A Raisin in the Sun, Mountain Top, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, and Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill, to name a few. As a recording artist, she has two recordings 2019 “Doris Bumpus, Paying Tribute to Billie Holiday” and 2011, “He will Take Care of You”. Doris can be found using her gift of singing, as a special guest artiste, event performer, and other various musical venues. She is signed with NYLO Talent Agency, Walnut Creek, CA. Doris background in human resources has led to her working with nonprofit organizations with compliance and federal regulations. Jamil Cuffie
Jamil Cuffie was born on the small Caribbean island of Grenada and grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and Houston, TX. He attended Park University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, followed by a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Golden Gate University. Jamil began his career as a Radiology Instructor and Clinical Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente, later advancing to Radiology Management as a Director for four years. He is currently the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Lead at Sutter Health. Jamil served in the United States Air Force for ten years, transferring to Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, CA, in 2006. He was honorably discharged, receiving the Air Force Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Award, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, among other honors. His military service and professional experience have honed his skills in leadership, teamwork, and decision-making. In addition to his healthcare career, Jamil became a real estate agent to share his expertise and improve the quality of services in the industry. Passionate about homeownership and investment, he aims to help as many people as possible achieve their dreams of owning a home and leaving a legacy for their families. In his free time, Jamil enjoys family outings, golfing, hiking, and reading.
Hassun Helushka
Hassun Helushka is a native of Richmond, CA and a graduate of Kennedy High School. Hassun is a community activist for equal housing and education. Hassan’s work includes advocating for communities of color to achieve the dream of home ownership and funding accessibility for youth pursuing higher education.
Hassun is the Founder of Generation Next nonprofit organization, focusing on housing and at-risk youth. Hassun is also the Chief Executive Officer of Fokus Investments, whose mission is to create plans that provides financial guidance for selling and purchasing homes. Hassun passion is to increase access for youth in the areas of STEM while creating mentoring opportunities for youth development.
